Alteo launched its initial public offering on September 26, which gave the first-ever opportunity for private investors to purchase the company's stocks. In the framework of the IPO, there were close to 300 thousand subscriptions to the securities of the group worth around USD 5 million, for an inndividual price of approximately USD 16,75. These stocks appeared on the Budapest floor on Monday. Thanks to the public transaction, Alteo's free float increased fourfold and the company’s stocks could also move up from category T to the Standard one.

The most important goal of BSE's 2016-2020 strategy is to make as many companies as possible choose the stock exchange if they need financing for investments. Alteo's successful IPO made it certain that the capital market is an excellent place for financing innovative companies, so we can continue our work to identify and provide professional support to potential issuers" - commented Richárd Végh, CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange.
