At this investor event, held 29-30 June 2016, five companies already listed on the Budapest Stock Exchange (Alteo, ANY, CIG Pannónia, Graphisoft Park, Magyar Telekom) and Duna House, which confirmed its plans to go public in 2016, will have a chance to have one-on-one discussions with participants at the European Midcap Event. 120 institutional investors, mainly investment fund managers from Western Europe, will meet with 50 European listed companies in total. There is great interest in Hungarian companies among international institutional investors, as shown by the fact that fifty investor discussions were scheduled with issuers in advance.

The two-day event’s stock exchange partners are BSE and the Madrid Stock Exchange. The investment service partner for the event from the Hungarian market is Concorde Értékpapír Zrt., which supports investors in Hungarian issuers by providing analysis.

As a part of its market development strategy, BSE aims to have an international presence, which involves more attention being paid to issuers by the international investor community. A way to ensure this is for BSE to organise issuer road shows, in which the event in Paris is seen as an important date.
